We live in a world where people want the aesthetic of justice without the inconvenience of accountability.  They want to repost, not protect. To speak, not act. To be seen as “on the right side” without ever standing on it.  And let me be clear— silence after the trend fades isn’t neutrality.  It’s abandonment.  As an advocate, I’ve watched survivors get celebrated in public and neglected in private.  I’ve watched systems promise reform only to wait out the outrage like a storm they know will pass.  Because they’re counting on you getting tired. Distracted. Comfortable again.  That’s not justice. That’s public relations.

Talking about something society is deeply uncomfortable admitting. Men—specifically husbands and fathers—are routinely presumed guilty before they ever speak.Not because of evidence.Not because of facts.But because of a narrative. In family court and public opinion alike, men are cast as the default aggressor, the assumed abuser, the villain in a story that was written before they walked into the room. And here’s the problem:When a system starts with an assumption, justice stops being blind.
