About Kris Valkyrie

 Kris Valkyrie, the alter ego of Katt Cristal Garcia-Aracena, embodies resilience, creativity, and purpose. As a member of the Social Media Misfits Club, Kris blends her vibrant energy and multifaceted talents to inspire a new generation of dreamers and doers.  

Katt's journey began at just 12 years old when she won her first pageant, sparking a lifelong passion for competition. Over the years, she has held titles such as National Cover Miss for National American Miss, Miss New York Belleza Latina, and Miss New York Tropics. With over 12 years of experience as a competitor and judge in state, national, and international pageants, her knowledge of the industry is unmatched.  

Katt transitioned her love of the spotlight into a successful DJing career, inspired by her cousin, DJ Charlie Chase. She collaborated with artists and producers in Reggaeton, Hip Hop, and House music while balancing her roles as a student, paralegal, and mentor. Her personal evolution, fueled by her pageant roots, has led to hosting *The Poisonous Daily* podcast, where she shares insights on personal growth, empowerment, and advocacy.  

Holding degrees from NYU and Kingsborough Community College, Katt has built a career as a litigation paralegal with 17 years of experience. She also contributed to a published book in 2021, amplifying the voices of children whose parents were 9/11 first responders.  

Kris Valkyrie is more than a brand; it’s a movement. From pageantry to DJing, photography to podcasting, Kris celebrates creativity, resilience, and advocacy. Proudly wearing the title of Mrs. Activist New York, Kris continues to champion justice and empower others—all while being a devoted wife, mother of four, and Doberman mom.
